George Rupp, the recently appointed Chair of the International Baccalaureate board of governors, shares his insights on global education in an interview with Huffington Post this summer - “In an inter-connected global world, every child should have the opportunity for an international education. Current and future generations will be better prepared if they are world citizens that are able to study, live and work internationally.”
The International Baccalaureate embodies a curriculum that is by intention both inclusive and global. It offers programs of international education that, among other things, give students the perspectives of other cultures, societies and countries while fostering multicultural competence and building relations with underrepresented regions of the world.
