Cambridge English: Young Learners Tests are widely recognized as one of the most authentic testing systems for young learners of English Language. It provides students a very clear path to improve their English. While practice makes perfect, we should also find ways to increase students’ motivation if we want them to perform well in the tests. Here are two key steps to remember: 1. We must grab their attention and get them interested through fun activities 2. Then we need to go further and challenge them with achievable goals The following video and slides from Cambridge will explain to you the rationale and help you perform the tasks above. Your students will not only feel much more prepared but also confident about the exams.

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) operates in more than 143 countries with an aim of developing inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who can help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

The organization not only works closely with schools and governments to produce challenging programmes for students across the world, it also strives to bring together a worldwide group of supporters who recognize their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet.

To this end, 31 Boulevards has been invited to join the IB community from this September to provide school relations services for the International Baccalaureate in Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.

Although IBO supports more than 75,000 teachers and 1,250,000 students aged 3 to 19 from over 4,200 IB World Schools, the organization does not own, operate or manage any schools, preferring instead to confine itself to curriculum partnerships. The role of 31 Boulevards therefore, is to assist IB in providing more direct services at the local level in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China.

31 Boulevards embraces the mission of IB in nurturing young people who are confident in their own identities, make ethical decisions, and respond to challenges with optimism and open-mindedness. Do you also wish to be a part of this growing community?
