Cambridge English has recently published a brand new picture book to help children continue to grow both their vocabulary and their English skills. The book also includes many of the words children might see in their Cambridge English: Movers test – making it an ideal preparation for the test.

The British Council performs summer school inspections every four years (the latest in 2013), and the results in the EL Gazette Rankings tell you all you need to know about which school to choose.
The inspection assesses standards in management, resources, premises, teaching and welfare, and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected. EL Gazette further analyses the rankings and produces a summary for stakeholders based on the British Council inspection results.
On March 19 to 21, 31 Boulevards was invited to Macau to join the IB Asia Pacific Annual Conference, where educational leaders, decision makers, and practitioners from schools, universities and governments gathered to discuss best practice in educational quality, pedagogical leadership and international mindedness across the Asia Pacific region.
IB has a policy of collaborating with organizations worldwide, to produce detailed reports examining the impact and outcomes of IB in the region. Studies conducted by researchers from Australia show that IB students in Hong Kong and China are globally mobile, multilingual and inter-culturally aware. These characteristics form the core competences creating their advantage in an extremely competitive world. These advantages are viewed as bringing benefits over the short, medium and long term.
The keynote speakers in this year’s IB Asia Pacific Annual Conference included Julia Gillard, the Prime Minister of Australia from 2010 to 2013, Dr Michael Anderson, Professor of Education from the University of Sydney, and Dr Fazal Rizvi, Professor of Global Studies in Education from the University of Melbourne.
